I offer coaching services for writers and aspiring editors, delivered virtually. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or just unsure of where to begin, my coaching services offer a safe, supportive space to talk things through. Together, we can explore your goals, clarify what you actually want out of your writing journey, and map out a path to get there. Whether you’re considering indie vs. traditional publishing, struggling to find your voice, or navigating imposter syndrome, I’m here to listen and guide without judgment. Working with someone who already understands the creative journey can save you valuable time and energy, helping you avoid common pitfalls and focus on what really matters: building a sustainable, fulfilling writing life that works for you.

If you’re interested in booking coaching sessions with me, I can teach you how to:

• Write a query or a synopsis
• Find an agent
• Figure out whether you want to go indie, traditional, or hybrid
• Plan your long-term writing career
• Plan a series of books
• Publish under a pseudonym 
• Figure out the details of things like ISBNs (in Canada), book formatting, and hiring cover designers
• Find and submit short stories to submission calls
• Build your author resume and list of publishing credits
• Apply for grants (in Canada specifically, especially for the Canada Council for the Arts CCA, or give general advice)
• Be a better writer and master your craft 
• Edit your own work
• Learn more about things like punctuation, line editing, dialogue, or anything else
• Become an editor yourself 
• Basically anything in this industry you want to know, even if it’s not listed here!

I charge my standard hourly rate for coaching sessions, which are generally 2 hours. You can pick a topic of interest to you and you’ll walk away with everything you need to know to move forward, including resources for self-study.

We can cover as much as you’d like in your chosen timeframe, or go in depth on any point you require.
